Skaters, we know that many of you were disappointed that there was no Skate Asia event for 2009 so we are very happy to announce that China Resources Sun Hung Kai, developers of the MIXC, the MIXC Residence and the Park Hyatt Hotel are proud to announce that our new Olympic size rink will open in early 2010, and has applied to ISIAsia to host Skate Asia in August. We're just starting to put things together, but will post a lot of information here in the future so please tell your friends and parents to check this site for details. For direct inquiries contact skateasia2010@gmail.com. You can also sign up here as a follower so that you recieve the latest updates.

For the information of Asian skaters please note that direct flights to Hangzhou are from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, and Seoul. Check with your agent to see if others exist or for available connections to our city. We are 2 hours flying time from Shenzhen or Hong Kong and only 70 min by bullet train from Shanghai.

Hangzhou is one of the 10 biggest tourist cities of China and is famous for the West Lake area in the center of town. We will post a lot of local information here soon. In the mean time, please plan to join us and skate is what will be the most beautiful ice rink the world.
