Around the famous West Lake area which is 20 min by taxi, there are numerous hotels that have a very wide variety of prices from about USD50 per night to $300. I might recommend a 3 star hotel called Lakeview Hotel, which is about USD$60 per night, right on the lack and next to the main street that leads directly to our mall. The Lakeivew hotel has a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in their top floor restaurant that overlooks the beautiful lake. Highly recommend that you visit the lake area early in the morning to watch the groups doing Tai Chi.
